AIRWINGS devices can sense the Gases, Particulates and many other variables. An AIRWINGS device can accurately reflect the air quality situation in a radius of at least 1 Km. 10 stations have been installed, 4 in Athens, 3 in Thessaloniki and 3 in Heraklion on top of main city avenues with high traffic as well as at key points to provide a wide city coverage. The stations can operate independently with solar panels without the need to be on the grid. They sent new measurements in high frequency, every 10 minutes using cellular network. In case of network outage, they are also equipped with internal storage to keep the latest data and automatically update the timeseries on the cloud when possible.
