Nikos Al-Sheikh Aly holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Patras and an M.Sc. in Geoinformation in Environmental Management from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh). He works as a Research Assistant at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH). His interests include coding, geospatial analysis, satellite and drone (thermal) imagery, and machine learning algorithms. He contributes to the CoCO₂ and CLMS-Cities projects, focusing on CO₂ emissions monitoring and estimation.
