Equipment
Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) with Hyperspectral Camera
The BlackSquare X8 multi-rotor drone is equipped with the HySpex Mjolnir Hyperspectral Imaging System for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Its Hyperspectral Camera covers a wide spectrum of ultraviolet/visible/near infrared measurements (400 - 2500nm). It requires 3 x 3 meters of space for taking off and landing. There is no need for a launch ramp or landing strip near the project.
Key Features
- 1091 mm X8 Frame
- PixHawk flight controller
- 12kg payload capacity
- <25 kg MTOW with Mjolnir and gimbal
- Up to 25 min flight endurance with 8kg payload
- Two GPS/GLONASS receivers for redundancy
- 28” carbon propellers
- One flight case

Unmanned Aerial System with Optical Camera
The T-Drone M-1000 is equipped with two cameras: one optical (Sony RX100 iii) and one thermal (Optris 640 Pi). The thermal camera covers the spectrum of 8 to 14 µm and has a resolution of 640x480 pixels.
Key Features
- Take-off weight of 8 kg
- T-1000 UAS platform
- Ground Control Software for advanced flight plans
- QGroundControl with HereLink Controller
- 2-axis digital stabilizer
- Here3 GPS with L1
- CubeOrange with ADSB

Unmanned Aerial System with Optical & Thermal Camera / Multispectral
DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise is an industrial grade UAS system. Designed for high quality studies, is equipped with two cameras: one optical (1/2-inch CMOS, Effective pixels: 48 MP) and one thermal (640×512 pixels).
DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral Edition aerial surveying drone combines RGB and multispectral cameras for precision production of orthoimagery and vegetation monitoring, including submerged vegetation (i.e. seagrass). It is equipped with two cameras: one optical (4/3 CMOS, Effective pixels: 20 MP) and one multispectral (1/2.8-inch CMOS, effective pixels: 5 MP), with the bands to be places at Green (G): 560 ± 16 nm, Red (R): 650 ± 16 nm, Red Edge (RE): 730 ± 16 nm and Near infrared (NIR): 860 ± 26 nm.
Due to the C2 certification from the European Union, under Delegated Regulation 2019/945 EU, it enables to fly in the A2 subcategory of the open category, which refers to flight operations in areas where a safe distance from non-involved people cannot be maintained.
